New Year, New You! FHCUtah’s 8-Week Weight Loss and Wellness Program Part 1

With more than ¾ of American adults being overweight, it is crucial for each individual to take action to achieve lifelong weight management skills instead of simply dieting here and there. The cure for America’s obesity is not a quick fix. It does not lie in diet fads or spurts of extreme exercise. The answer is consistent healthy choices for a long vibrant and fulfilling life.

Freedom Healthcare Utah is excited to introduce our 8-week lifestyle program that will arm you with tools to be successful in losing weight and getting healthy for life. Starting Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 6:00 pm, we will meet together weekly to help you understand the different lifestyle factors that are at the root of your weight management problem. We work with you to solve those problems and help you begin your lifelong journey of feeling strong, healthy, empowered, inspired, and energized.

What is your program?
Our program teaches about and incorporates the many facets of weight loss and wellness: diet, exercise, stress reduction, detoxification, psychology and other components you will learn about during the first session.

How is this program different from other programs?
This program teaches you to EAT ABUNDANTLY from ALL of the food groups in a strategic way to “cross train” your metabolism, allowing your body to utilize all types of food, not just vegetables and protein.

Does your program promote calorie counting?
No calorie (or point) counting!

I have tried many of the diet trends, but nothing seems to work…why?
The majority of diets are designed to starve your body of food and calories in order to break into the fat storage. They result in a sluggish metabolism deprived of the many nutrients we were intended to ingest that allow our body to function properly.

What if I lose motivation to go?
Making big life changes is a challenging process and therefore a certain amount of hand-holding, personal accountability and accomplishment are needed in order for this 8 week program to be a success. We will help you get a solid start for the first 2 months at which point you will have lost weight, detoxified, made new habits, and learned many new skills that you can take home and share with your family. You will be a pro!

Why should I start?
Because you want to live a long, healthy, joyous life! How much does the program cost?
There are a few different options to choose from within the program. The starting cost is $500 for the 8 weeks of classes,1.5-2.5 hours per week, which is due at the beginning of the first meeting. At that first meeting we will go through the different options you can choose from and decide at that point which program you would like to follow. Also, for every person you bring with you, you will get 10% off of the total cost, up to 60% off! If you bring more than 6 friends, there will be additional rewards!
